Thanks very much for your recent letter which has finally reached me in Oxford. I am delighted to hear that The Tale of Jeremy Vole has been selected for your Children's Crown Collection.

I appreciate the weight of the honor and wish to convey my thanks to all those in the National Christian Schools Association who read the book and selected it for this distinction.

Now I can only hope that Jeremy Vole will sit on the library shelves with his companions, The Tale of Timothy Mallard and The Tale of Anabelle Hedgehog.
