Dear Students of the National Christian School Association,

This summer, I was delighted to learn that my novel, Tae's Sonata, was voted the winner of the Lamplighter Classic Award. I wanted to write to you then, but decided to wait until the start of the new school year to ensure that my letter would reach all of you.

To all the students who read Tae's Sonata, I extend my heartfelt thanks. I am grateful to all of you (and your educators!) for seeking out my book, and for embracing Tae's story.
