Dear Ms. Morrow,
I've received, from Bill Morris at HarperCollins, a wonderful plaque and - especially wonderful - notice that my book, The Best School Year Ever, has won the Children's Crown Award... and, therefore, the approval of boys and girls in Christian schools around the country..
What an unexpected pleasure! And.. what a surprise for the Herdmans (characters in my book) to find themselves the recipients of an award... especially this award which recognizes and celebrates the presence of positive values in books for boys and girls.
